We are an approved contractor within the NIC inspectorate, which is widely accepted within the electrical industry as a third party certification body.
The NICEIC is an independent consumer safety organisation and has been the electrical contracting industry’s voluntary regulatory body for electrical safety matters for more than 45 years.
The
FSA is an organisation that consists of a specialist group of companies that design, install, commission, maintain and monitor electronic fire and security systems. It is also a specialist division of the ECA (Electrical Contractors Association).
Companies that have been approved to join this organisation are vetted to ensure that there operational services and credentials meet the criteria that the FSA sets out. The requirements on FSA fire specialists include the need to comply with all relevant British and European Standards and to hold third party certification for fire detection and alarm systems.
This gives our clients peace of mind as the FSA is an organisation has been specifically created to endorse and support their member companies in all aspects of the Fire and Security industries.
Quality Standard BS EN ISO9001: 2000
The efficiency and quality of a company is even more critical to its initial success. Therefore by striving to achieve this standard we have been able to use its structure and base the company’s procedures around it. This has enhanced the overall performance of each stage of our products and services. Also safe in the knowledge that we are operating to ISO9001: 2000 has enabled the company to appear on the Exor database. Exor is an accreditation body for suppliers and contractors to the Public Sector.
The Fire Industry Association
The Fire Industry Association, or the FIA, is a not-for-profit trade association with the aim of promoting the professional status of the UK fire safety industry. FIA core values are to:

- Be recognised as THE experts in providing solutions to fire protection problems
- Provide an open, transparent and equal forum for members regardless of size

IGPA have always believed that we uphold all the above values and found it natural to become a member of the FIA.
Investors In People
Our ongoing commitment to the individual and the employee performance within the company has naturally lead us to achieving the Investors In People standard. The standard allows us to insure that we are meeting the needs of the individual by showing support for their development within the company. Each individual’s performance is monitored as this standard compliments the EN ISO9001: 2000 standard.
It enables us to assure, that through training and guidance, employees have the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently.

Exor
IGPA has been accredited by Exor and has attained the required standards for the “Gold” Accreditation Level. This included a stringent overall assessment of the company looking at all aspects including operations, health & safety, personnel and equal opportunities. This accreditation allows us to work with local authorities.
Constructionline & Chas
As with Exor we have undergone stringent overall assessment. We have been approved by Constructionline, who are the UK’s largest register of local and national pre-qualified construction and construction-related services.
Chas (the health & safety arm of Constructionline) requires each company to meet with their stringent health and safety criteria. This gives all our clients peace of mind that we are being monitored to the highest standards.

IGPA are certified under the BAFE scheme number SP203. This means that having satisfactorily complied with the requirements of the BAFE Adopted Scheme we are certified to carry out the following Fire Alarm disciplines:

Health & Safety
We have an excellent Health & Safety record. All our employees are inducted when joining the company and are given on going training throughout their stay with us. They must pass the CSCS assessment and adhere to our health and safety policy that they sign up to, before commencing works on any IGPA related project/contract.
